Chili, Chicken, Corn Chowder

Ingredients
1/4
cup oil
1
large onion, diced
1
garlic clove, minced
1
rib celery, finely chopped
2
cups frozen or canned corn
2
cups cooked, de-boned, diced chicken
4-oz
can diced green chilies
1/2
tsp black pepper
2
cups chicken broth
salt
to taste
1
cup half-and-half

Directions
In
saucepan, sauté onion, garlic, and celery in oil until soft.
Stir in corn chicken and chilies. Sauté
for 2-3 minutes.
Combine
all ingredients except half-and-half in slow cooker. Cover and heat on
low 4 hours.
Stir
in half-and-half before serving. Do not boil, but be sure cream is
heated through.
